Keys to Power Persuasion Test Question

OK, it looks like there’s no one answering these questions yet, and I’m just aching to give away a free gift to the people who answer it correctly. I figure if I ask enough of these questions, then I’ll start getting responses.  The free gift is an ebook, but I want to keep it a surprise for now. 

Finish this Statement: “Followers are more likely to go along with a plan if:” 

  • they think that everyone else is going along with it too
  • the plan completely satisfies their logical decision making process
  • they thought of the plan first
  • the plan is easy to follow

    Hi Judi,

    Try again!

    The answer is actually right there when we study the social behavior patterns in the world wide Occupy Wall Street Protest Movement. As we can see, the protesters are unified, but it is NOT an easy plan to follow as we saw from LE lash back on tuesday in Oakland, CA. A great deal of protesters have chosen to suffer cold nights and cramped conditions under threat of arrest and worse for their beliefs, therefore, the protesters are NOT making an easy choice.

    Followers are more likely to go along with a plan if: the plan completely satisfies their logical decision making process (subjective response) AND “they think that everyone else is going along with it too”(objective response).

    Which comes first t? The chicken or the egg!

    Hi Randolph! Followers are more likely to go along with a plan if they think that everyone else is going along with it too. It’s a group mentality. If suddenly everyone starts running a certain direction, and other people standing around don’t know why, instinctively they will start running the same direction. It’s reflected in every day pop culture, where everything that would be considered “cool” or “popular” is dictated to people in books, media, advertising and show business.
